Stephen Vayda is like any other guy. He’s not a doctor. He’s not a nutritionist. He’s a former engineer that discovered a way to reverse his own disease by using proper nutrition.
Years ago, Steve learned that he had Gout. Gout is a very painful disease which basically means that there are elevated levels of uric acid in the body. It often flares up due to eating the wrong foods and in at least 50% of patients, it causes extreme pain in the big toe. But it can also do harm to the kidneys and cause pain in all of your joints.
He Reversed His Own Disease
Steve decided to learn more about Gout and set out to see if there was a way to stop the painful flare-ups. What he learned was astounding! He learned that by eating a typical American diet, he was causing his own painful Gout!
Without drugs or invasive treatments, Steve not only alleviated his pain, but in fact, reversed the disease! Now, he lives without the painful Gout episodes completely.

Several books, such as Dr. Esselstyn’s “How to Prevent and Reverse Heart Disease” and Dr Campbell’s book “The China Study” are a few examples. Steve really got serious about his new lifestyle and realized he wanted to help others to change their lives as well. He studied and received a Certificate in Plant-Based Nutrition from the T. Colin Campbell Foundation and eCornell.
Now Steve has made it his passionate mission to educate people on plant based whole foods nutritional concepts.
